WEDNESDAY 20TH JUNE
Bake A Cake – Come along and watch the 2010 Festival Village Show winner Caroline Stephens bake a cake
Family Concert – Swavesey Village College showcases its talent
RADSOC – Open air RADSOC performance on Market Street Green
Sport on the Green – 5K fun run for all ages, races around the Green, ex GB international Stuart Faben javelin classes and more.
THURSDAY 21ST JUNE
Swavesey History – A talk in St Andrews Church on the history of this village
Jazz on the Green – A very popular event in 2010. This year another trad jazz evening with Barry Palser’s ‘Savoy Jazz’ plus hopefully some SVC talent, hopefully food available
FRIDAY 22ND JUNE
Willow Lunch Club at Bethel Baptist Church
Tea Dance Afternoon – A chance to dance, enjoy watching and have a delicious afternoon tea
Children’s Disco – A manic 90 minutes!
Barn Dance on the Green – Spartan’s Barn dance on the Green – very popular event in 2010
Night Walk RSPB – Come and join the RSPB for a night walk to spot the late evening fliers
SATURDAY 23RD JUNE
Festival parade – This is your chance to celebrate the 2012 Olympics with themed costumes
Village show – Classes for handicrafts, produce, cookery for all ages.
Stalls – The usual diverse variety of interesting stalls – 30+ stalls already booked
Games & rides – Come along and enjoy Bouncing Castles, Assault course, Paint Ball shooting, Crazy Golf
Connexions Bus & Swavesey Youth Action – Facilities include: PCs with internet access, PS3, Xbox 360, DVDs, Karaoke, tuckshop, variety of sports equipment, information and advice, quizzes and crafts
Demonstrations – Dance groups
Music & song – Throughout the afternoon we plan to stage a wide variety of musical acts on the stage
Fireworks – End the evening with a BANG!
